2012  at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls from complication of heart surgery.

He

was born in Galveston, Texas on July 23, 1949 to Jestwin Edwin (Pinky) Lee Jr and Elizabeth Fairchild Dunn Lee

. Paul

graduated from

Highlands High School in San Antonio, Texas, in 1968

and received his

Bachelor’s Degree from

Southwest

Texas State

in San Marcus.  He

married Susan Williams on March 17, 1978.  Although they were divorced at the time of his death, Susan contributed much appreciated care and support during his long and difficult time in the hospital.

After he graduated from college he worked for a theatre chain as accountant in San Antonio, and then went to work for Becktel Corporation on the North Slope Pipeline.  Moving to Juneau, in 1975, to work for the State of Alaska as a Legislative Auditor.  He did an audit of the social security system that led to the state starting their own retirement system. Paul worked for Capitol Office Supply for a while, then started Juneau Times Savers.  With his friend, Roger Porto, he started Totem Properties.  Paul moved his family to Shelley, Idaho in December of 1991. He worked at various sales jobs then started doing home mortgage loans.  He was semi retired at the time of his passing doing substitute teaching for the Shelley School District.

is survived by

his children John Ira (Regina) Lee of Hanahan, South Carolina; Brandilynn Sue Billings (Ethan) of Juneau, Alaska: Paula Jean Susano (Gerardo) of Kent, Washington; Tabitha Louise Keller (Sam) of Idaho Falls, Idaho.  Daughter-in-law Katherine Yeoman Lee of Montpelier, Idaho.

  Grandchildren Brittany Nicole Cox and Ashley Paige Cox of South Carolina; Blake Riley York of Oklahoma; Zoey Faline Billings and Tatum Grace Billings of Alaska; Spencer Jay Lee, Aidan Daniel Lee, Carson Aaron Lee of Idaho; Javier Santos Jr, John Paul Santos, Susan Bernice Santos and Gerardo Susano of Washington; Harleigh Sue Keller, Aaron John Keller and Samuel Rick Keller of Idaho.  Brother Jestwin Edwin (Tinker) Lee III and his wife Ann of Marshall, Texas; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.  He was preceded in death by his son Aaron David Lee, brother William Brian Lee and both of his parents.
