Phyllis Beth Johnson, 87, of Firth, passed away Saturday, May 24, 2014, at The Gardens Assisted Living Center in Rigby.
She was born February 16, 1927 in Idaho Falls to Frank and June Nield. She attended school in Firth.
She married Boyd Virgil Johnson on January 2, 1946, in the Idaho Falls Temple. They served two missions together in England and Washington D.C.
She was the definition of LOVE!
An Angel God sent from above. Beth loved her husband and devoted her life to him. She loved her children, grandchildren and her great grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with her dear friends. She loved to walk, garden, grow flowers, and paint. She was always up for a good time and a good laugh! She was the life of a party! Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saint meant so much to her.
She is survived by her children Terry (Sheila) Johnson of Payson, Utah, Cathy Richard Adams of Idaho Falls and Danna (Tony) Engedal of Burbank, CA; 13 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 2 half-sisters, Donna and Dixie.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; her son Darrell and two brothers Wayne Nield and Ron Nield.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, May 30

, at the Firth Ward Chapel, 744 North 600 East. The family will meet with friends for one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be in Firth Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Nalder Funeral Home in Shelley. A luncheon will be held at the LDS Church in Firth after the burial.
