Roberto Olmos Chavez, age 29, of Casper, Wyoming has entered eternal rest on September 9, 2021, due to Covid complications.
He was born September 22, 1991 in Visalia, California to Eva Olmos. Berto grew up in Blackfoot, Idaho. He graduated from Blackfoot High School, then moved to Casper, Wyoming. He was the youngest of 5 siblings, and was by far the most successful. Not only academically and economically, but most of all by his heart. He knew how to love everyone unconditionally. He helped everyone in any way he possibly could. Everything he did was always for his family, and everyone who truly knew Bubba thought of him as just that, family.
When Bubba was a teenager, he loved to do anything that involved being outdoors. Not much changed as the years went on. He continued to have so much love and appreciation for nature and everything it had to offer. He believed in living life to the fullest and making memories. He loved to spend time with his family and friends, going fishing, camping, going on vacation, floating the river, and riding his motorcycle. He was the kindest most fun loving person, and he was so loved and cherished by all that were blessed enough to meet him.
He worked in the nitrogen field and loved his job. He loved being able to travel, experience new places, and learn new skills. He believed in working hard for everything he had, and he was always willing to go above and beyond to get what he wanted. Not only did he love his job, but also all of the people he was able to work with. He thought of his coworkers as family, just as he did everyone he met.
He will be remembered for how pure his love was, how he had the most infectious laugh, how with only a smile he could light up an entire room, and most of all for all of the love and happiness he brought to his family.
He is survived by his mother Eva Olmos, father Cosme Hurtado, sisters Concha Sánchez, Jessica Olmos, and Mercades Carrillo, brother, Victor Salvador, nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, numerous cousins, Vicky and stepchildren.
Berto was preceded in death by his beloved brother Benio Olmos, grandparents Jose and Ascención Olmos, uncle Martin Olmos, and aunt Reina Garza.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, September 17, 2021 at Nalder Funeral Home (110 West Oak Street) in Shelley. The family will receive friends Friday morning from 9:30 till 10:45 A.M. at the Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Basalt Cemetery.
