Roger Kenneth O’Bryant passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at The Cascades at Riverwalk in Midvale, Utah at the age of 83.
Roger was born September 16, 1934 to William Jackson O’Bryant and Zora Haws O’Bryant in Belle Fouche, South Dakota. He served two years in the U.S. Army. He graduated from Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho with a degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
On May 14, 1954, Roger married the love of his life, Ann Beulah Christensen in the Idaho Falls Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Roger was preceded in death by his wife, Ann (2011).
He is survived by his four children; Dawn, South Salt Lake; Dan (Janna) O’Bryant, Copenhagen, Denmark; Larry (Layne) O’Bryant, Puyallup, Washington; Bill (Colleen) O’Bryant, San Antonio, Texas; 14 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren.
Roger loved the outdoors where he could camp and fish. He loved working in his yard and always had an abundance of flowers and fruits growing. With a woodworking hobby he built furniture and model ships.
Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Nalder Funeral Home (110 West Oak) in Shelley. Burial will be in the Shelley Hillcrest Cemetery with Military Rites by the David B. Bleak Post #93 of Shelley and the Idaho Honor Guard.
