Roy Dredge

Roy Dredge, 83, of St. George, Utah passed away October 1, 2008 at his home.

He was born May 30, 1925 in Goshen, Idaho to Richard Henry and Esther Marilla Heward Dredge.

He managed Idaho Potato Growers Fresh Shed for ten years and was a potato buyer at R.T. French Company and Pillsbury for 28 years were he retired in 1990.

He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints holding many positions such as Scout Master, Explorer Advisor, Ward Clerk and High Priest Presidency.

He will be missed by many.

He is survived by his wife, Vivian Tew Dredge of St. George, UT; children, Allan Roy (Caroline) Dredge of Sunnyvale, CA; Jolene (Bob) Lancaster of Port Lavaca, TX; Donald (Kathy) Dredge of Idaho Falls, ID; Darla (Randy) Richards of Blackfoot, ID; Terry (Evelena) Dredge of Ammon, ID; Tina Jensen of Idaho Falls, ID;  Brothers, Jay Dredge of Las Vegas, NV; Talbot Dredge of Columbia, OR; 16 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jovenia June Coram Dredge, one son, Curtis, one grandchild, Robyn, two sisters and seven brothers.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday October 6, 2008 at Nalder Funeral Home, 110 West Oak Street in Shelley.  The family will receive friends Monday morning 10:00 till 10:45 at the funeral home.  Burial will be in the Shelley Hillcrest Cemetery.
