Scott Gallup had a wonderful reunion with his parents as he joined them in heaven Wednesday, October 10th, 2021.
"Scotty" was born March 9th, 1968 in Idaho Falls to Russell and Beverley Gallup. He was the youngest of 9 siblings and was spoiled rotten. If you asked him, he would tell you he was well loved and well picked on by his sisters and brothers. Whether is was putting him in a tutu or "abandoning" him on the roof of the shed they always had a lot of fun.
Scott started pulling samples for the State of Idaho when he was a junior in high school. He was such a good worker that they called him back the next year and offered him a full time job as a potato inspector when he graduated. He worked for the State for over 20 years. He retired from there and started inspecting for Green Giant. He did that for a number of years before retiring. After that he worked some odd jobs to "keep him out of trouble" before health issues made him quit working.
In 2003 Scott met Lori Young. He said he knew as soon as they met she was the love of his life. They married in 2005 and their adventures started. Scott loved hunting, camping, day trips here and there, and spending time with friends and family.
Scott is survived by his wife Lori. Siblings Becky (Jerry) Ridgel of Tickfaw Louisiana, RaeLynn (Roy) Stewart of Shelley, Larry (Alexia) Henrie of American Fork Utah. Russell (Kelli) Gallup of Jerome and Kevin Henrie of Utah. He had numerous nieces and nephews he loved as if they were his own, and always enjoyed getting together for visits.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters Holly Sievers, Debbie Henderson, and brother Michael Gallup.
