Sharen Pixton Crofts

Sharen Pixton Crofts was born July 3, 1940 at the Idaho Falls Hospital. She was born to Turrell Eugene Pixton and Leila Margaret Jorgensen. She was born 10 minutes before her twin sister Shirlee. She had an older brother Ferris and a sister Joan.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and held many church callings. She excelled as a housewife and a homemaker. She loved and was very talented in all sorts of crafts and sewing. She was a great cook. There were always homemade meals and desserts around.

She enjoyed camping and taking trips with her husband and family. She enjoyed going to Hawaii, California, and deep sea fishing on the Pacific Ocean. She went on numerous white water trips on the Snake River, Fall River, Salmon River and Middle Fork of the Salmon. 

She married Philip Neil Crofts on August 29, 1958 and was sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple. They were blessed with 5 awesome children: Sharlene, Bryan, Marcene, Rhonda and Stuart.

They were married 66 years.

She died January 4, 2025 in Blackfoot, ID.

She was preceded in death by her Father and Mother , (Turrell and Leila), brother (Ferris), son-in-law (Terry Freeman), granddaughter (Sherie Freeman).

She is survived by her loving husband, Philip Neil Crofts and her children: Sharlene Millard, Bryan (Susie) Crofts, Marcene Freeman, Rhonda (Dana) Mallard, Stuart (Heather) Crofts. She had 19 grandchildren, and 39 great grandchildren.

She was loved and admired by her family and will be greatly missed.

A Family Celebration of Life will be held Friday, January 10, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at the Firth Stake Center in Basalt. Burial will be in the Basalt Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Willows for all of the kind care and consideration for mom in her last days.
