Sharon Kaye Hathaway

June 3, 1948 — February 9, 2021

Our Aunt Noo, Sister and 2nd Mom went back to our Father in Heaven February 9, 2021. She leaves behind a legacy of selflessness, Christlike love and complete dedication to her family.

Sharon Kaye Hathaway was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Wylie and Olive Hathaway June 3, 1948. She joined an older brother and was soon joined by 6 other siblings. She moved to Kellogg, Idaho when she was 8 years old and finished school there. The FBI hired her in 1965 and eventually, following her Mother's death, she would make her way to Shelley, Idaho. There she started her career with the INL where she played a key role in Document Control which allowed her to support her family. She would eventually retire from the Idaho Lab.

She was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Saints. She was very proud to serve two missions. Her first calling was to Argentina and she completed her second mission following her retirement to Dominican Republic. She taught primary for decades and loved it!! She devoted hours upon hours to Genealogy.

She was an avid puzzle maker, game player, baseball watcher (GO Willie Mays) and Tom Clancey book reader. She was always available and happy to babysit any of her babies and fur babies. She was considered a second Mom and Grandma to her Sister Ann's kids and Grandkids and will forever be our Aunt Noo and our hero!! She was blessed and loved by many nieces and nephews from her Brother and Sisters and they all loved her and she them. Her family was her life and she would do anything for any one of them.

She is survived by her sisters: AdriAnne Bowcutt (Ron), Sandra St Germain (Owen), Crystal Sevy (Danny), Allison Cox (Robert) and her Brother Kevin Hathaway (Cindy). She was preceded in death and reunited with her Mother and Father, her sisters Jewelle and Vickie, brothers Ronnie and Danny and her Nieces Leslie, Holly and Richelle.

Until we meet again, we will miss you and we love you Noo
