Sherree Lott

September 14, 1955 — January 7, 2024

 

Sherree Ilene Farnes Lott was born September 14, 1955 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Jay Elmer Farnes and Faye Elizabeth Crow Farnes.

She was welcomed home by her brother Lonny.  Three more brothers followed Russ, Mark and Kent.

Sherree was raised on the family farm south of Idaho Falls.  She attended York School and Longfellow and Idaho Falls High School.

Sherree married Randy Lott.  They had 4 children and later divorced.

The family lived in Teton, Sugar City, Shelley and Fort Hall.  They spent most of their years living near Sherree’s parents’ farm.

Sherree was a good homemaker, she always kept her home in order.  She loved to work in flower beds and her garden.  She would play pinochle with her mother and her aunts and cousins each week.

She worked as a housekeeper at a couple of different hotels.

She is survived by her sons, Brandon (Terese) Lott, Cory (Collette) Lott, and Byron Lott.  Brothers, Lonny (Karlene) Johnson, Russ Farnes, Mark (Kim) Farnes, Kent Farnes.  Grandchildren Chase (Courtney), Krissy (Alex), Jason.  Step-Grandchildren, Aaron and Craig. Great-Grandchildren Lennon, Emri, Bridger, Buxton, McKenna.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jay and Faye Farnes and daughter, Christine Lott.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, January 11, 2023 at the Taylor Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday morning from 9:30 till 10:30 A.M at Nalder Funeral Home, 110 West Oak Street, in Shelley. Burial will be in the Taylor Cemetery.
