Sherry Leah Gamble, 72, passed away July 8, 2014 after a brief illness.
Although she stood only 4 feet 10 inches tall, the world has lost a giant of a woman.
Faith, family, and country defined Sherry.
An active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Sherry served diligently in many capacities.
A devoted wife and mother, she loved and was loved by her family.
She loved America and was very loyal to the ideals of freedom and the responsibilities that come with being a citizen.
Sherry was born November 4, 1941 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Paul Everett and Dororthy Leona Wilburn Guill, and was raised by her mother and step-father Bob Behrendt.
Sherry married Dee Gamble January 3, 1961 in Grantsville Utah, and was later Sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
They were blessed with three wonderful children, Bob, Shirley, and Tracy Gamble, eight of the world’s best grandchildren, and three fantastic great-grandchildren.
Sherry is survived by her husband and children; sisters, Bonnie Guill (Gene Herron) and Lynn (Bruce) Robinson.
She is predeceased by her parents; sisters, Pamela (Brent) Hardy and Betty Guill; and grandson Jeremy Nicolls.
Two viewings will be held: Friday, July 11, 2014 at Nalder Funeral Home, 110 West Oak , Shelley, Idaho, from 7:00 to 8:30 PM, and a second viewing in Grantsville, Ut at the Grantsville LDS Third & Fourth Ward Building, 428 Hale St., Saturday, July 12, from 10 to 10:45 AM.
Graveside services will be held Saturday immediately following the viewing, at the Granstville (Utah) City Cemetery.
Interment will be in the Grantsville City Cemetery.
Sherry would like for her legacy to be one of love.
