Shirley Louise Mitchell

Shirley Louise Mitchell, 94, of Idaho Falls, passed away August 22, 2008 at the Lily & Syringa Care Center.

She was born September 26, 1913 in Shelley, Idaho to Leroy and Henrietta Krista Madsen Johnson.

Shirley married Clifford Richard Mitchell in 1933.  They had two children, Louise and Richard. She enjoyed crocheting, camping, and reading.

She is survived by her daughter, Louis (Marvin) Trent of Basalt; two sisters, June Miller of Idaho Falls and Carol Taylor of Firth; one brother, Ross (Ellen) Johnson of Iona, 9 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, two grandchildren, four brothers, and four sisters.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday August 30, 2008 at the Shelley Eighth Ward Chapel (184 North Park Ave.).  Interment will be in the Shelley Hillcrest Cemetery under the direction of Nalder Funeral Home in Shelley.
