Tanya Anne Young

Tanya Anne Young (Lister) returned home August 15, 2018. She was 41.

Tanya was born December 17, 1976 to Mercy F. Sotelo and Calvin (Beau) F. Lister in Casper, Wyoming. She grew up in Idaho Falls and Shelley, Idaho where she attended high schools. She resided in Ammon for the last 10 years.

Tanya was a hard worker from a young age and worked as a loan officer after high school up until she married and had children. She had two brothers and a sister growing up and later became the proud mother of four boys.

She thrived on making others happy. When Tanya wasn’t making people laugh, she was singing and dancing or finding other ways to uplift those around her. She loved meeting new people and doing for others. Tanya’s passion for loving people, the outdoors, and music was infectious to all those who came to know her.

She is survived by her four amazing sons: Beau R. Young, Crew P. Young, Kade R. Young, and Bryton Lister. Also surviving are her mother and step-father, Mercy (Filiberto) Sotelo, two brothers Ty (Celeste) Lister, Filiberto (Jr.) Sotelo, and a sister, Letty (Juan) Sotelo-Ponce.

She is reunited with her dad, grandpa, and cousins who she loved dearly. She will be missed so much but we are comforted in knowing she is at peace amongst family and loved ones.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, August 20, 2018 at the Ammon Second Ward Chapel, 1100 S. Tiebreaker Drive in Ammon. The family will meet with friends Monday for one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery under the direction of Nalder Funeral Home in Shelley.
