Terry Lee Taylor passed away April 2, 2022 in Idaho Falls ID.
He was born April 27, 1945 in King County WA to parents John and Leona Taylor. The oldest of three children, he was a loving, kind, and supportive big brother.
Terry grew up in Lake City, WA where he helped watch/antagonize his brother and sister. This is where he also found his love for the water. He worked hard, even having a job as a lifeguard for a while during his teens. After graduation, he chose to join the Navy and did many tours in Vietnam. He served for a total of 28.5 years in military services. During his military service he was stationed in Long Beach CA. While there he met his soul mate Mary Eloise (Ellie) Hann. They were sealed for time and eternity on May 25, 1968 in the LDS Los Angeles temple. Terry and Ellie welcomed 6 children to their family over the years. The family moved several times before settling in Shelley ID. Terry worked hard. During his time with his family, he was fun and adventurous. He loved camping, boating, amusement parks, and simply spending time with his family.
Terry joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints after meeting his sweetheart. He served in many positions in the church. He is most proud of his service as a missionary for the church of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints where he served at the Idaho Falls canary and dry pack for more than 15 years.
He is survived by his wife Mary Eloise Taylor, his children Michelle House, Marie (Kyle) Elser, Tommy (Casey) Taylor, Travis (Alicia) Taylor, Theresa (Paul) Hathaway, Lacey (Darren) Adams, and his brother Martin (Judy) Taylor.
