Tex D. Elkington died unexpectedly after a short illness on Dec. 20, 2012 at EIRMC in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
Tex was born Oct 25, 1994 in Goshen, Idaho. The son of Ben Elkington and Carol Sevy. Tex grew up in Goshen and recently lived in Rigby, Sugar City and Firth, Idaho. One of his sisters set up a FB group, “We Love Tex”, and there are over 1000 members of that group.
He was an eagle scout, avid hunter and custom built 3 rifles. He played his prize fiddle at Bar-T-5 in Jackson with his brothers. He was active in his church and involved in Seminary, FFA, welding and wrestling. He was planning on serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints after graduation from High School.
Tex was right with God when he was taken so suddenly. He forgave everyone that ever offended or hurt him. We should all aspire to be like Tex, he was able to forgive, and so can we.
