Tom attended all the schools in Firth and graduated from Firth High School in 1984. He participated in sports and was active in band. In high school, he made some lifelong friends that will be treasured forever.
While he was a Sophomore in High School, he began his career as an electrician for his Uncle Tony at Arco Electric. He traveled and worked there, managing jobs in Montpelier, Driggs, and all over East Idaho. From there he decided to branch out on his own, and after that began working at Idaho Supreme. He worked there for a short period of time, until he got the opportunity of a lifetime, his dream job of being a Professional Hunting Guide.
He worked as a guide for Broadmouth Canyon Ranch for the remainder of his days, loving every minute of it. He was in his element running Spike Camp. Tom had the gift of gab and always made friends very easily throughout his life. He made many lasting friendships with his hunting clients from all over the world. The majority of these he remained in contact with for the rest of his life.
Tom's life always revolved around hunting and fishing that he learned from his Dad at a very early age. He knew every inch of the mountains just east of home. He made a couple new friends, whom he called his brothers that gave him the opportunity of hunting and fishing in New Zealand and Alaska. In New Zealand he had the opportunity to guide and hunt a new variety of game. He also traveled to Alaska numerous times hunting and fishing. He loved his steelhead trips down the Salmon River. He recently bought a jet boat and was looking forward to driving it down to Corn Creek. In Tom's short life he has done more than most people get to do and see in an entire lifetime.
On August 28, 1998 he married Michelle Griffin Brewington. They made their life in Firth, Idaho. Tom's shop at their house was always a gathering place for many friends, who were his family, sitting around listening to Tom's hunting stories. Almost every weekend you could find a fire in their yard, cooking hot dogs with their many friends.
