Uriel Vazquez

Uriel Vazquez, 42, of Shelley died February 24, 2007 at his home from a brain tumor under the care of Hospice Alliance of Idaho Falls.  

He was born June 14, 1964 in Aguililla, Michoacan, Mexico to Manuel and Genoveva Mendoza Vazquez.  He attended school in Mexico before coming to the U.S. in 1980.  He married MaryBella Quintero, they were later divorced.  

He worked for Rocky Mountain Ropes in Shelley.  He loved music, dancing, and playing the drums.  He enjoyed life and was always laughing.  

He is survived by his father, Manuel Vazquez of Idaho Falls, mother, Genoveva Mendoza of Shelley, three brothers, Garbrel Vazquez of Idaho Falls, Daniel Vazquez and Manuel Vazquez both of Shelley, seven sisters, Margarita Vazquez and Alicia Vazquez of Mexico, Evangelina Vazquez, Teresa Vazquez, Catalina Vazquez, Maria Elena Vazquez, and Genoveva Vazquez all of Shelley.

There will be a Funeral Mass at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday February 28th at the Holy Rosary Church (9th and Lee) in Idaho Falls with Father Joseph F. McDonald III officiating.  A viewing will be held Tuesday from 11:00 A.M. till 8:30 P.M. at Nalder Funeral Home (110 West Oak) in Shelley with a Rosary service at 6:00 P.M. Interment will be in the Shelley Hillcrest Cemetery.
