Vicki Lynn Adcox Bean joined her ancestors on Thursday, February 20, 2025 at 8:52 A.M.
She was born February 17, 1945 in Clovis, NM. Vicki was full of life and talent, being involved in several community theater productions (both in Kooskia and in SE Idaho), choirs, concerts and the like. She loved music and was known for her glorious voice. She never missed the chance to sing when she had the opportunity.
Vicki lived for her family. She was the mother of 8 children and grandmother to 18, great grandmother to 4. She always preferred being called ‘Granny’ as grandmother sounded ‘old’. She spent many hours reading to her grandchildren and instilling in them a love of reading. She helped many kids over the years navigate their English classes and loved to teach, having substituted at the school her children attended in SE Idaho for many years.
Vicki had a creative mind. She loved riddles, games, acting, dancing and all life had to offer her.
She passed in her home surrounded by family and those who loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, L.D. Adcox and Ruth Ann Norris, her sister, Linda Greenacre (Al) and her son, Jeffrey Lloyd Bean.
She is survived by her husband Paul, and her children, Dave (Alayna), Ruth Ann, Geneve (Sheldon), James (Nikki), Jared (Regina), Joshua (Shari’) and Joseph (Tiffany), her brothers, Dennis and Jerry and her sister, Ann.
A celebration of her life will be held at the Kamiah LDS Church in Kamiah, Idaho on Thursday, February 20, 2025 at 6:00 - 7:30 P.M.
A service for all who knew her will be held in Terreton, Idaho at 11:00 A.M. Monday, March 3, 2025 at the Terreton Stake Center with interment following at the West Jefferson Memorial Cemetery where she will be laid to rest next to her son.
