Vickie Bowcutt, 58, of Shelley went to the arms of our Lord, August 27, 2007 at Idaho Falls Health and Rehab due to complications of Diabetes.
She was born November 12, 1948 in Kellogg, Idaho to Wayne and Peedee Hamock. She was raised in the Silver Valley and attended Kellogg High School. She went on to earn an Associates degree at North Idaho College in Coeur D’ Alene.
She married her high school sweetheart, Ronald Bowcutt in Kellogg on September 9, 1972. They resided in Smelterville before finding their home in Shelley. They have been married for 34 years.
Vickie loved her family and enjoyed camping in the local mountains.
Vickie is survived by her husband, Ronald of Shelley, one son, Kelly Bowcutt of Shelley, parents, Wayne & Peedee Hamock of Shelley, two sisters, Anne Bowcutt of Shelley, and Barbara Rossi of Rathdrum, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Terry Dean Hamock.
Private family services will be held under the direction of Nalder Funeral Home in Shelley.
Vickie fought a courageous lifetime battle with diabetes. In Lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to: American Diabetes Association, Boise Office, 223 North 6th Street, Suite 200, Boise, Idaho 83702.
