Wildford J. Hess Jr.

Wilford J. Hess Jr., 66, of Shelley passed away May 13, 2013 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

He was born November 16, 1946 in American Falls, Idaho to Wilford J. Sr. and Voris Lois Chandler Hess.  He attended schools and graduated from Shelley High School.

Wilford joined the United States Army and served overseas in Band berg, Germany during the Korean War.

He drove potato truck for several years and worked at GPOD in Shelley for many years before retiring.

Wilford is survived by a son, Patrick (Nichole) Hess and two grandsons, Aiden and Taylor Hess of Idaho Falls; his mother, Voris Hess of Shelley; a brother, Harold (Lou) Hess of Beaverton, OR; nephew, Dale Sirratt of Idaho Falls.

He enjoyed golfing, fishing and hunting.

He was preceded in death by a son, Wayne Hess, his dad, Wilford Hess Sr., and sister, Darleen Hess.

Graveside services will be held 10:00 A.M. Thursday, May 16, 2013 at the Shelley Hillcrest Cemetery with military rites by the David B. Bleak Post 93 of Shelley assisted by the Idaho Honor Guard.
